Letting go or giving up?
This summer has been different for me in many ways. After having major age chrisis (my first one ever) and having to face the fact that my physical body is never going to be that'all mighty'one again, I feel good, strong and serene. Never felt like this before. How I this time managed to do that? - It was not easy, but I finally learned to let go....
It's so easy trying to live the buddhist lifestyle when everything is fine. And forget all as soon a chrisis hits you. BUT sooner or (like me) later you remember all you have learned and can see the 'big picture'. Everything is constantly changing..Suffering ends when craving and attachment (to thigs, thoughts, feelings, people..) ends, when one is freed from desire. "awareness to see things for what they are with clear consciousness, being aware of the present reality within oneself, without any craving or aversion" - letting go.
I also know that although I'm serene now, doesn't mean I will stay that way, because here we go again: everything is changing, nothing lasts ;)
And with 'now' I litterally mean just right now, this moment, this minute, because "For yesterday is but a dream, And tomorrow only a vision".
Because I have been so serious with you I will share with you these old, classic goodies that allways make me laugh (loud)

The amazing Flying Arrow...
No blogging in 9 days, what a shame and no excuses. We have been, as usual 2 weeks before holidays, busybusybusy working. And walking and doing wholebody workout and a bit of yoga - just us, together, feels nice. Woke up with soar throat last friday and totally panic: is this the start to h1n1??? It was not, a lots of lemon, honey, fresh ginger, vitamin c, probiotics and A. Vogels echinaforce cured me in 48 hours. Two nice weekends with children and their boy/girl-friends, and my daughters dog - who is too human (positively) to be just a dog ;) or is there any "just a dogs", don't think so. Cyprus holidays are getting closer, and we really do need a break. Just can't wait to meet all our friends and see how much little 'Tiesto' and his brother have grown under summer. And Dear Darling Sis - we wan't some avgolemoni, please...
Saw on tv Usain Bolt break the world record with an amazing attitude. Hope we all can take some of that to our everyday life and training - just take it easy, nothing is impossible.
Did you know that "bolt" means arrow - nomen est omen...

Take care, love -p-

My sugar is Raw - we will never recover..
and A Dream came true - we saw Madonna..and REALLY SAW - just a few meters between us and The Queen of Pop. And she was no diva, so present, friendly and superpro. And when she said "Hello Finland", I did not faint - I cried ;)
It was awesome, fantastic - but not just "once in the lifetime"-experience, we want more. We were Fans and now we are Freaks. This was our first concert, but definetly not the last.
